New this year is the Shinko E804 and E805 geared specifically for the larger adventure touring bikes. Like the similarly styled (but not priced) tried and tested Continental TKC80, the classic big block pattern is aggressive but also provides a stable and comfortable ride on the pavement. Consider it perfect for 40% riding on pavement and 60% off-road (dirt or gravel).
