Shipping Providers 
Notification and Tracking

  • For the most part, all domestic US shipping is handled by United Parcel Service (UPS). We take seriously the cost of shipping and constantly strive to modify our shipping tables to benefit our customers. All shipping costs are based on total purchase price per shopping experience. We sometimes will ship United States Postal Service (USPS), without notice.

  • For international customers USPS is the shipping method of choice. All shipping charges are estimated. Actual shipping charges may vary. We will never charge more for shipping costs listed on your order without gaining your approval first.

  • To ensure receipt of all Happy Trail's email related to your order, please add @happy-trail.com and [email protected] to your safe senders list.

  • If your order is shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number directly from the UPS e-mail notification center. UPS shipping time is from 2-7 business days depending on how far you live from our store in Boise, Idaho.  Once your order has shipped and you have received your tracking number by e-mail, you can track your order at ups.com.

  • International order tracking is at usps.com.

  • Please check your account for updates on your order including tracking numbers.

Order Processing

  • Funds for online orders are typically captured in their entirety within 24 hours. You will be notified by email or phone if your method of payment is declined.

  • Our normal shipping and handling for in-stock items is 2-3 business days. Add the actual shipping time for the product to arrive at your shipping destination. If any part of your order is out-of-stock or being custom built for you we will contact you via email or phone within 3 business days. Our standard practice is to send a partial order if part of the order is ready to ship.

  • During our busy season we do become back-ordered and do not always have inventory in stock. We try our best to get our products to you in a timely manner and appreciate your patience in waiting for our quality American-made products. Orders that include items from other manufactures may have longer processing time if those items are not in stock.

Order Status

  • We make every attempt to update you on status changes but our main concern is getting your product out the door and on its way. Please feel free to give us a call or send us an email to check the status of your order.

Returns and
Return Authorization Form

  • All products manufactured by and bought from Happy Trails Motorcycle Products can be returned for 100% credit toward the purchase of new products.

  • In the event you would prefer a refund, a restocking fee of up to 25% will ensure we can continue to offer you quality products at a reasonable price.

  • No returns can be accepted on special orders.

  • No returns will be accepted on products not manufactured by Happy Trails Products.

  • All return shipping is paid for by the customer. Items returned must be returned with a copy of the original sales receipt, in original packaging, and must be saleable as new.

  • Returns must be made within 30 days of the shipping date.

  • Return process for orders placed online: Please click on this link, print and fill-out the return authorization form to include with you return.

  • Incorrect Item Shipments: If you received an incorrect item no extra charges will be incurred. We will replace incorrect items and pay the additional shipping charge. Please emailsupport@happy-trail.com for assistance.

  • Customer Order Error: Incorrect customer orders can be exchanged for any other item without paying the restocking charge. However, the customer will pay the additional shipping and handling charge. Please email support@happy-trail.com for assistance.

  • Actual products may vary slightly from what is pictured on the website due to our constant updating of products. Similarly, we strive to keep our product descriptions and pricing current. We reserve the right to cancel orders for products that have been inadvertently listed in error. We manufacture Happy Trails (TM) merchandise here in Idaho.
