There are 3 different version of this inner tool rack available, for the 3 different versions of racks.
Option 1: Non point 1 inner tool rack, order all 3 peices for the no .1 design.
Option 2: You have a upper plate welded in (Point1) but no lower inner tool plate, order all 3 peices for the .1 design.
Option 3: You have a upper plate welded in (Point1) but no lower inner tool plate (same as option 2), order the bolt in plate only. This allows for other mounts.
Option 4: I have a "Point1" plate and welded in inner tool mount ("T" style rack) on the SU rack. This will give you 2 L brackets.

We've been making our popular SU rack in one version or another for over 20+ years. There is no stronger luggage side rack anywhere. The SU rack is unbeatable for carrying any kind of luggage and especially excels at being the center point of our aluminum pannier systems.
Many of us have developed a style of riding that includes offloading luggage at a point of destination and then riding without the panniers for day trips. But what happens when the carefully developed tool kit, tire inflation kit, and spare tubes are left back at camp or at home? Nothing good.
Jason and his team in the fabrication shop came up with a solution. It's this nifty SU inner tool kit/utility shelf carrier that allows a rider to load the inner space of symmetrical SU racks with the can't-leave-behind essentials, while leaving the panniers back at camp.
The two or three piece kits are an easy installation to an existing SU rack. For the older style racks three holes are drilled (6mm or 1/4" bit not included) using one of the plates as a template. The two remaining pieces form a secure shelf with an adjustable width of 2.5" to 3.75". The current "T" style SU Racks (see chart above) have the piece kits.Perfect for a tool roll or secure bag for carrying must-have items for field repairs.

We just have the Point 1 Su Rack & the SL Rack for Versys 300.
No large Tail rack.
Just the Point 1 for the Sherpa.

With the dual exhaust there is no room to put anything inside the SU Rack. The Inner Tool Tray will not work on the F650GS.

When we redesigned the KLR E Model SU we duscussed widening the SU Rack for a Rootpax to fit on the inside of the SU. With our 30 years ex[erince of riding and working on KLR we came to the conclusion that the KLR had a dequate fuel capacity and the need would be minimal. The IMS 10 gallon tank would be an option if more fuel is needed on the KLR.
