It is always a good idea to have a spare master link in your supplies, chains break all of the time, even if it is not your own! Never leave on a trip with a few in the bottom of your luggage or store in your tool kit!
EK’s screw type master links do not require any special tools for installation. This unique patented link gives a rivet-like fit, using only an 8mm wrench and a pair of pliers.
