Happy Trails V-Strom Skid Plate Mount kits

The venerable V-Strom  is a very capable adventure mount, but one look at the front of the engine and you can see why a quality skid plate is such an important addition. Right out there in the open just waiting to be dented or punctured by a mischievous rock or branch are the oil filter, exhaust and starter with the engine cases not far behind.

Features:

• Four mounting points for secure attachment. (2 frame, 2 crash bars)

• Black Hammertone powder coat finish is standard.

Fitment Note:

• Our skid plate requires the use of either OEM or our crash bars/engine guards for the front mount points.
• Fits all years DL 650 including 2017
• Fits all years DL 1000

Mount Kit Compatibility Note: Select MK1 for Happy Trails Nerf Bars, GIVI TN532 crash guards, and AltRider crash bars. Select MK2 for the DL650XT Adventure Model with OEM engine guards and Select MK3 for SW-Motech engine guards.  **  If your SW Motech crash bar has the center clamp you need the MK-3 mount kit.  If you have the bolt together type, you will need the MK-2 mount kit. **

Included: Hardware kit contains front and rear mount brackets, all necessary nuts and bolts, and installation instructions
