The Highly Adaptable SUZUKI V-Strom DL650 (2012-2016)

The Suzuki V-Strom 650 base model is adaptable for anything you want to do with it---commuting, a little adventure touring, or some bar-hopping or even cruising. A key feature of the SUZUKI V-Strom DL650 2012-2016 is the improvement made on the new dash and instrument cluster. An analog easy-to-read tachometer comes with an LCD screen that displays trip length, road speed, fuel level/fuel consumed, overall miles traveled gear position and ambient temperature.

Engine Performance & Power
A 2-cylinder V-Twin, liquid cooled 645cc engine powers the V-Strom DL650 to generate 68bhp at 8,800rpm plus maximum torque at 6,400rpm. A constant-mesh 6-speed transmission crunches the ratios while a chain final drive is used to deliver power to the bike's rear wheel. The liquid cooled oil-filter housing is designed to assist the engine run cooler. A single 260 mm caliper pinches the disc in the rear, and dual front calipers bind the front 310 mm disc.

The Windscreen
The well-constructed, top-notch quality stylish replacement windscreen now features improved shape and height. It features precision-cut shape and clear tint. The AIRFLOW system design creates a useful aerodynamic effect that helps in eliminating turbulence and rider fatigue. The AIRFLOW spoiler can be easily removed during the warmer days allowing you to ride with only the windshield lower part. Using stock fasteners, the windscreen can be mounted in minutes when needed.

Skid Plate
The engine skid plate has been made using sturdy aluminum and is designed to offer protection to vulnerable engine components. These include the oil pan and exhaust headers when you take the Suzuki to harsh terrain.

Additional accessories include a center stand, multiple top/side case options, hand guards, engine bars, LED indicators, LED fog lamps, heated grips, 12V socket, Aluminium chain guard, and Aluminium belly pan. On the V-Strom DL650 seat front, it is possible to add a comfort seat, a -20mm low seat, or a +20mm high seat.
