Protect your BMW G650 Single with the best engine guard system.

Happy Trails Nerf Bars provide an enhanced level of protection compared to other aftermarket solutions, giving you the confidence to take your bike everywhere it was designed to go, both on and off-road.

We shaped the tube to provide incredible protection for those beautiful, but fragile (and expensive) BMW side panels, as well as the highly vulnerable radiators and cooling fans. This "horn" shape provides a very high level of protection in slow speed tip-overs where the cooling system is likely to strike a rock or tree stump.

Although protection is the highest priority, HTP also targeted a set of bars that blend in with the natural flow of the bike and almost disappear instead of the "in your face" look of some solutions. We feel our use of 7/8" tube instead of larger 1" combined with our one piece flowing tube design helped us achieve our goal.

Features:

  • Provides the highest level of protection to keep the bike off ground

  • Enhanced protection of the vulnerable radiator, fan, and upper fairing areas

  • Elegant one piece design provides easy installation, maximum strength, lower weight, and just plain looks good!

  • Stress relief tabs bend before causing engine or frame damage

  • Made from 7/8" drawn-over-mandrel (DOM) tube

  • Bars offer a convenient mounting option for Riding Lights and Nerf Bags

Compatibility Note
: These bars are compatible with the OEM skid plate but not the OEM tubular skid plate "cage."

Jason says: "The DOM tube is more costly than the standard industry "hot roll electric weld" tube (HREW) but we find that with motorcycles vibrating the way they do, the DOM weld zone withstands years of use and holds up in a crash. The tensile strength of DOM tube is almost double that in HREW tube."
