Jason says: "The DOM tube is more costly than the standard industry "hot roll electric weld" tube (HREW) but we find that with motorcycles vibrating the way they do, the DOM weld zone withstands years of use and holds up in a crash. I have a 2003 Suzuki V-strom. Due to a recent head on collision, I am looking for new crash bars and skid plate (RIP Pat Walsh design). I like these nerf bars. Which skid/bash plates are compatible? Thanks!Question by: russ on 2016-08-10 18:58:00
The DL1000 skid plate that we make fits but we got a bad rap from Rider concerning the plastic shroud so we discontinued the listing due to not having a bike to fit the skidplate on. If you want to purchase and have any issues we will refund and retieve the skid plate.
