The SU (Structurally Unique) Rack is designed for use with soft or fixed luggage of any type. Perfect for mounting aluminum panniers, GIVI luggage, Pelican cases or any luggage you choose.
The DL650 V-Strom SU rack has our new Point1 pressed insert design and welded in Inner Tool Rack mount plate. This adds to the ease and functionality you've come to expect from our pannier systems. Details HERE.
The DL650 SU rack design fits the handy SU inner tool kit/utility shelf carrier.
The carrier allows you to load the inner space of your SU racks with the
can't-leave-behind essentials, while leaving the panniers back at camp.
Features:
- Exclusive and thoroughly tested 4th generation side racks
- Four point mounting system (includes mounting hardware)
- Strong 5/8" round tubing for the arms and 3/4" square tubing for SU loop
- Bumper support between the two side racks adds strength, stability and protection
- Racks improve the structural integrity of the rear sub-frame adding protection for the bike in case of tipovers.
SU kit does not include the Tail Plate shown in the photos.

V-Strom 650 width with SU installed:
2004-2011 = 21.5"
2012+ = 24.25"
Left and Right sides are symmetrical within 1/4"
Finish: black powder coat paint only
Note: SU rack can be run with the stock tail rack, however the exhaust heat shield must come off or be altered. By notching it you can run it with your SU racks, but it is not needed with the racks installed. The shield is more for looks and soft luggage protection.
