The Hyper-Lite is a device to warn drivers of a stopping motorcyclist ahead. When the motorcycle's brakes are applied, new Super Bright Light emitting Diodes (LED) solid state lights flash to draw attention to the stopping cyclist. All Hyper-Lite kits now come with selectable flashers. At time of installation you can choose between continuous flasher mode and 5 second mode which flashes for 5 seconds then goes solid. The Dual Function turns Hyper-Lites into running lights (at a reduced intensity) until the brakes are applied. The LEDs then flash at their normal (very bright) intensity. Dual Function flashers are also selectable. The standard Hyper-Lites uses less than .3 amps of current.
Are these light legal for on road use in all states .

That is what HyperLite promotes. They do have a California option that flashes 4 times and goes solid.

Hello, I'd be using these on a xr650l with an aftermarket tail light. Would these just tap into the existing wiring and not need a any additional resistors? is there any way they could be wired into the turn signals also?
