This is an Adventure MotoStuff original constructed of 3/16
mm-thick aluminum for protection of your engine, exhaust and oil cooler. Wraps
around the engine block to provide both bottom and side protection.
Fits Happy Trails, Givi, Hepco & Becker or SW-Motech/Suzuki crash bars. Also compatible with Happy Trails, Suzuki, SW-Motech and Hepco & Becker centerstands. Will not fit with a Leo Vince Full Exhaust system on the
DL650.
Notes: This Adventure Motostuff Skid Plate is not compatible with the 2012+ DL650 Adventure model.
The Hepco Becker mounting kit is a direct bolt-on solution with the factory crash guards.
Hepco-Becker Engine Guard Note: Hepco & Becker re-designed 2004-2011
DL650 crash bars (502.308) in August, 2012. The Adventure MotoStuff engine
protector is not compatible with any Hepco-Becker Engine guards shipped after
that date. Additionally, the Adventure MotoStuff engine protector is not
compatible with the 2012 DL650 Hepco & Becker crash bars (502.309).
