The SU Rack system is compatible with the stock tail rack.
Clif Cut describes a 1.5" exhaust cut-out used on bikes with wide protruding pipes to create a more symmetrical weight distribution when panniers are mounted and loaded. It keeps the load as possible to the center of the bike.
Tim says: I recommend the Clif-Cut for this bike because it makes the bike 3" narrower overall with panniers mounted. Note that this advantage puts the panniers closer to the top plate, so there is 3" less width for top plate cargo.
