Happy Trail Aluminum panniers for Buell Ulysses

This Owyhee Pannier Kit for your Buell Adventure bike includes everything you need for a great luggage system.

The kit includes:

  • Two Owyhee Panniers
  • SU Rack System

  • Mounting hardware

Kit does not include the top plate shown in the photo.

   Bike width with SU rack installed is 17"
   Bike width with 7.5”panniers installed is 32”
   No need to remove stock grab handles and back rest to install panniers

Comparing our panniers? Here's an easy formula. Owyhee Panniers are 2" less in length and 1" smaller in height than our Teton series. Construction of the two systems is identical. Owyhee panniers are priced higher because they cost more to make; our Teton series is produced in greater volume which brings the cost down.

Teton panniers are not available for the Buell Ulysses because of turn signal clearance issues.

Powder Coat: We recommend powder coat painting to protect your cargo from the black residue produced by unfinished aluminum. It also gives your pannier a quality, finished look.

Pre-mount: We will mount your panniers (drill the four holes for the pannier puck mount kit) on the SU rack. Happy Trails' "neutral" mounting position is suitable for solo or two-up riding (rider and passenger).

Lid Racks: Four footman loops come standard on each lid. If you plan to carry larger items on your pannier lids, our lid racks offer additional tie down positions.

Bag-It! sale! Add six pannier liner bags for the bundled price of $90 (save $30.) Stack one bottom & two mid/upper bags in one pannier... one bottom and two cubes in the other.
Note: The bags are 2" longer than Owyhee panniers, but snug in nicely. Available in 7.5" and 9" widths. If you add Bag-It! to a 6" pannier order you will be sent 7.5" bags... they snug in just fine.
