Skid plates are a must for the serious woods or cross country rider, to protect the motorcycle from expensive frame and engine case damage. Our plates are constructed of 5/32" aircraft quality 5052-H-32 aluminum. They are attached to the frame with strong, reliable heat treated steel clamps. These plates are custom fitted to each model bike. All plates have openings to allow easy oil changes. Weight: 2.5 - 3.5 LBS. Torx 40 bit/driver required for skid plate installation.
