The panniers in our Scratch & Dent category are new or sometimes lightly used returns. Some panniers have slight scratches or dents, many of which are unnoticeable.
Most will have been mis-drilled (ie. holes drilled for a particular application). All
mis-drilled holes are covered with black vinyl decals, which are as dust and waterproof as the rest of the pannier.
All panniers will be correctly drilled for your application. If you follow Tim's and Kurt's example the predrilled holes become a non-issue.
Kurt says: "Both Tim and I cover the entire face of the box (the side facing towards the bike)with gorilla tape. We like it, as it gives a uniform surface that protects the paint and provides a slight cushion against the SU rack."

We are unable to provide pictures of the actual panniers you will receive (the
labor cost would erase our ability to offer the substantial discounts in this
sale). If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return the panniers
at your expense and we will gladly exchange them for another pair. Because the
SU rack and mounting pucks you will receive are new and unopened they cannot be returned once
mounted.
Pannier kit does not include a tail rack.
