The new Happy Trails SL Rack is a universal soft luggage solution for all model KLR650s. This low-cost alternative works on both A and E model KLRs at a great low price.
No need to relocate the rear turn signals which often interfere with the lid opening on aluminum panniers, since the rack is intended for soft luggage only. This makes it easier to install and cuts installation time.
We created this rack for our
Mojave Soft Luggage and it is also compatible with the
Wolfman and
Ortlieb Soft Bags (also sold by Happy Trails) as well as most other soft luggage options.
If you want to carry heavier loads or the added protection of a hard pannier, we recommend our
SU rack. The SU rack is designed to handle the additional weight by offering an increased number of bike mounting points and a stronger square tube mounting platform.
