We make two different SU racks for the DR650:
One: Select 9" below if you have stock grab handles or an old style Suzuki 9" tail rack.
Two: Select 12" below if you have the newer style stock tail rack or the new Happy-Trail tail plate.
Not sure? Measure from the center of the front bolt hole on the tail rack to the center of the turn signal mount.
It will be either 9" or 12". Select corresponding size below.

Powder Coat: We recommend powder coat painting to protect your cargo
from the black residue produced by unfinished aluminum. It also gives your pannier a quality, finished look.

Pre-mount: We will mount your panniers (drill the four holes for the pannier puck mount kit) on the SU rack. Happy Trails' "neutral" mounting position is suitable for solo or two-up riding (rider and passenger).

Matched Key Lid Locks: Allows you to have a single key for aluminum panniers and/or aluminum tailbox (any number of boxes) as long as they are ordered at the same time. Does not replace cam latches which provide the dust and water proof seal that makes our boxes famous.

Happy Trails Tail Plate System for the DR650 is a stand-alone tail plate. Wing-plate style eliminates the need for an underlying tubular rack. Color: black. Size: 16.25" Wide x 12.25" deep. See photos

Lid Racks:
Four footman loops come standard on each lid. If you plan to carry larger items on your pannier lids, our lid racks offer additional tie down positions.

Note: The bags are 2" longer than Owyhee panniers, but snug in nicely. Available in 7.5" and 9" widths. If you add Bag-It! to a 6" pannier order you will be sent 7.5" bags... they snug in just fine.
